Schedule the Closing
Once the lender has approved the homebuyer’s loan, it’s safe to put the closing date on your calendar. Usually the seller will have a separate closing time than the buyer to sign all paperwork. Therefore, we will communicate with you and contact the title company about a week before closing to set up a time to sign the closing documents.
A few days before the closing date, the buyer should get the Clear to Close from their mortgage lender. This means the buyer’s mortgage has been approved and we can schedule the closing time with the title company.
