Historic Westside:
The historic westside of Longmont, founded in 1871, has some of the city’s oldest homes. The neighborhoods feature the wide streets, large lots, mature trees, and stunning architectural character you would expect in older homes. The size of homes varies from small cottages to elegant properties along 3rd Avenue, many on large lots. Walking distance from many of the homes is the bustling downtown area featuring local shops, art galleries, brew pubs, restaurants, museums, theaters, and an opera house. The historic eastside is a mix of elaborate Victorian-era homes alongside modest residences and 1920’s bungalows. There is a small town feel with the proximity to historic Main Street shops and services. The Eastside remains a neighborhood where kids can walk to school and residents can walk to the library or downtown. You’ll find wide streets, shady yards, front porches, and alley garages. Collyer Park and the Slough stream are both nearby.

East Longmont provides easy commuting options to Denver, Loveland, and Fort Collins with easy access to Hwys 66 and 287 and I-25. This area combines newer homes with those built in the late 1970's. The Fox Hill area features large lots and the only country club in Longmont, and the surrounding neighborhoods (Fox Meadows, Fox Creek, and Stardance) can join the club for swimming, tennis, golf, fitness, and dining. Prospect:
Prospect New Town is a one-of-a-kind neighborhood in the southeast corner of Longmont. Dubbed the "Coolest Neighborhood in America", it combines the best of city living with a small town feel. Located on a former 80-acre tree farm, residents of this neighborhood enjoy mature trees and streets oriented to maximize the view of the mountains. Northwest Longmont:
If you want to be near rural Boulder County and prefer older neighborhoods with large yards, this might be the neighborhood for you. With houses built between the late 1960's to the mid 1980's, the Northwest Longmont neighborhood features sprawling ranches with nice lot sizes. Northwest Longmont is home to McIntosh Lake, Twin Peaks Golf Course, multiple neighborhood parks, and the Gothic Revival style Historic Hover Home. McIntosh Lake offers a 3.5 mile loop around the reservoir, multiple playgrounds, fishing spots, paddleboarding, and kayaking.

Southwest Longmont:
Southwest Longmont is a gorgeous suburban area with neighborhood schools, wide sidewalks, and HOAs that provide well-maintained lawns and common areas.
