Closing Day

Closing typically happens at a Title Company and for you, as a seller, should only last about 30 minutes. Be prepared with 1-2 forms of ID. The Title Company will already have the payoff information to pay off your existing home loan (if applicable), your bank account information for wiring your funds, the deed and bill of sale ready to transfer to the buyer. After closing, you will no longer have possession of your home and will pass all keys to the buyer (unless a Post Closing Occupancy Agreement has been executed).
